Granite Countertops
in Flagstaff, AZ
Natural stone slabs with unique character you can't get from engineered materials. Fabricated and installed by Flagstaff's countertop team.
Why Choose Granite?
Granite is 100% natural stone — quarried from mountains, sliced into slabs, and polished to a finish that no engineered material has ever truly replicated. The depth, variation, and uniqueness of granite is something you have to see in person.
It's also one of the most heat-resistant countertop materials available — you can set a hot pan directly on granite without damage. For serious home cooks in Flagstaff, that matters.

Granite Countertop FAQ — Flagstaff, AZ
Does granite need to be sealed in Flagstaff, AZ?
Yes — granite is a natural porous stone and should be sealed once a year to prevent staining. We seal all granite countertops after installation, and we'll show you how to reseal at home (it takes about 20 minutes). Well-maintained granite with annual sealing looks beautiful for 50+ years.
Is granite more or less expensive than quartz?
Granite and quartz are in a similar price range — $55–$110/sq ft installed for granite vs $65–$120/sq ft for quartz. The main difference is what you get: granite offers natural uniqueness and heat resistance that quartz cannot match; quartz offers zero maintenance that granite cannot match. The right choice depends on your priorities.
Can granite crack?
Granite is extremely durable — it's one of the hardest natural materials on earth. Cracks from normal kitchen use are very rare. Cracks typically happen from severe impact (dropping a heavy cast iron pan directly on an edge) or improper installation. Our installation includes proper support and overhang specs to prevent stress fractures.
How do I clean granite countertops?
Day-to-day: warm water and mild dish soap. Avoid acidic cleaners (vinegar, citrus-based sprays) — they can slowly etch the sealer. For stubborn stains, a poultice of baking soda and water works well. We give every customer a care guide after installation so you always know the right approach.
